Lee County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the responsible agency directly.

Official Records and Custody Contacts

Choose the office by record type. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office handles county booking and jail records. The Lee Clerk maintains the court case and disposition. Florida and federal agencies maintain their own custody records, so a county jail contact cannot answer every search.

Use the Clerk for criminal case dockets, documents, orders, and dispositions.

The following routes cover the most common record questions:

  • County booking record or mugshot: Search the LCSO Arrest Search, then request a copy through LCSO Central Records when the online entry is incomplete or an official copy is needed.
  • Current custody or a recent release: Use LCSO’s in-custody and released searches. Call 239-477-1000 when an urgent custody detail needs direct agency confirmation.
  • Court disposition: Search Lee Clerk Matrix or call the Clerk at 239-533-5000. A jail charge is not the final court result.
  • Sentenced Florida prisoner: Use the Florida Department of Corrections Offender Search. FDC records state prison and qualifying supervision, not new Lee County bookings.
  • Federal prisoner: Use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. It covers federal custody and does not serve as a county mugshot search.
  • Immigration detention: Use the ICE Online Detainee Locator for a qualifying current immigration detention record. It does not display Lee County booking photos.
  • Police incident report: Contact the arresting police agency shown on the LCSO entry. A city incident number and an LCSO booking number identify different records.

Provide a full legal name, date of birth when known, booking number, approximate booking date, and the exact record requested. Central Records is the correct LCSO route for a booking or arrest record and booking photograph. The jail line handles operational custody questions, while the Clerk explains access to court records. None of these offices should be asked to interpret another agency’s record.
